Teacher Microgrants
We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for teachers through a partnership between the Education Foundation of Sierra Vista and the SSVEC Foundation. This special funding opportunity replaces our Inspiration Boosts, is available exclusively to teachers and will be awarded one time during 2026, with awarded funds available for use at any point during the 2026–2027 school year. The application period is open now through September 15 at 11:59 pm.
The new application process has been designed to be streamlined, user-friendly, and efficient. Teachers may request up to $999 to support innovative classroom projects and student learning. To demonstrate just how simple the process is, one teacher volunteered to be our first applicant and successfully completed and submitted her application in just 18 minutes.
To help you prepare a strong application, an online workshop with helpful tips and guidance will be available soon. We encourage all eligible teachers to take advantage of this exciting new partnership and the opportunities it provides to enhance teaching and learning in our schools.
Everything you need to know about the application process, how to apply, FAQ's, and links are listed below (aim your camera at the QR code or click the Microgrant link.) Additionally, this information will be sent to your school emails, posted in teacher lounges, and at the back-to-school event on Aug. 4th.
