Inspiration Boosts in Action

One of the six major projects the Education Foundation sponsors and funds through our fund-raising events, are Teacher Inspiration Boosts helping teachers finance and execute special classroom projects.  A project  by 5th grade teacher, Isabel Dahl Sulger, at Town and Country Elementary, was "Volume Zoo and Matter Exploration." Foundation Board members were privileged to visit her students, and the other 5th grade classes of Tammy Jones and Linda Nagel, as they displayed the zoo animals they created and demonstrated their knowledge of the animals' length, width, and volume to parents and other Town and Country students.

Another Inspiration Boost project was conducted by Margarita Davidson, 7th / 8th grade Spanish teacher at Joyce Clark Middle School as she led her students through their Dia de Los Muertos art project. While enjoying the artistic part of the project, her students also learned to understand traditions followed in schools and our communities.

The Foundation applauds Ms Dahl-Sulger amd Ms Davidson for their inspirational projects and their talented students for their brilliant projects execution.
